Who is Kite Soul Collective?
Kite Soul Collective is a community.
It’s everyone excited about being on the water, making progress and connecting with fellow kite souls.
We’re Eline and Rubén, two kite-driven souls who crossed paths in Brazil in 2024. Being both excited about kiting (obviously), exploration, nature and the water, connecting people, and the kite community, we started Kite Soul Collective.

Meet Rubén🇨🇴
Hey, parceros! This is Rubén. I’m from Colombia and I live in Cartagena. I started kiting in 2022, and for me it became more than just a sport. It’s freedom, community, and a way to connect with people and nature.
I’ve been working in online tourism for over 10 years, helping travelers discover authentic experiences around Colombia. Now, I want to share not only the best kite spots, but also the culture and energy of my country.
My goal is that during these days on the water, you get to experience what makes Colombia so unique.
Hopefully you’ll leave with new friends, unforgettable sessions, and a stronger connection to this place I call home. ✌🏼
Meet Eline🇳🇱
Hi, I’m Eline, based in Amsterdam and working in sustainability. My adventure with kitesurfing began in 2016, when a friend and I took our very first lesson, and I was instantly hooked.
In 2018, I joined a kitesurf student association in the lively student city of Groningen, where I made friends for life and embarked on kite trips to Poland, Greece, Denmark, Spain, and within the Netherlands. I also solo traveled to Tarifa, Brazil and Cape Town for kiting. Those experiences taught me that the best journeys are the ones shared with great people.
Kitesurfing enriched my life in many ways: it’s a way of learning about myself, pushing through fear (in a responsible way), connecting, exploring, and celebrating life’s freedom.
